Every photo shoot has a certain magic, but Erin Reddan’s wine educator branding photoshoot was special—a celebration of subtle power, approachable confidence, and the true flavor of a small business just waiting to bloom.
From our very first planning conversation, Erin made it clear: “My whole thing is…the whole purpose of my company is to get women more approachable wine education.” That’s why every detail of this session—props, poses, glassware, and laughter—was built to bring her mission to life.

The Vision: Wine Educator Branding Photoshoot With Heart
We didn’t just snap a few headshots. This was intentional, strategic, collaborative—all the things I love about personal branding for women entrepreneurs.
In our vision board (which Erin filled with ideas, images, and inspiration), we curated a look that fused timeless studio portraits with “lifestyle business photography”—think wine mags, cheese boards, branded glassware, and Erin herself both in the spotlight and casually behind the scenes. As she put it, “Whenever I pour at a lot of events…I never had any photos of me actually in action. So the idea of a lifestyle shot…just felt right.”
We dug deep on brand colors for her Squarespace site, arranging white and gray backgrounds for formal shots and transforming my wet bar into a scene right out of a chic wine tasting. “It’s got to draw the person in and sell the lifestyle that you’re selling,” we agreed as we pieced together her inspiration board.

Planning for Versatility—and Fun
Erin brought all the energy I wish every client had—not just with her wine (but yes, she did show up with bottles!) but with her collaborative spirit. We wanted her branding photos to “stand the test of time,” images that could work everywhere: newsletter, social, banners, even a lead magnet.
We mapped out a plan for props (“I’ll bring my branded glassware!”), wardrobe changes, and a little cheese and lunch to keep everyone energized. “That’s gonna be lunch,” she joked. It worked—shoot days should feel this real.
Reveal Day: Big Decisions, Endless Possibilities
When it came time for the big reveal, Erin and I sat side by side, paging through images: “There are so many shots…my gosh, these are all such great shots!” she said (and I agreed). We debated, we narrowed, we got hungry. “You’re either going to look at the expression, you’re going to look at the pose. If something’s not right, then it’s a big no. We move on. Everything that’s a yes…becomes the best freaking shots!”
What did we land on? A mix of smiling, thoughtful, full-scene and cozy-close. Pouring wine, holding a glass, laughing against a bright green wall and a classic studio backdrop—each shot felt uniquely, authentically Erin: approachable, expert, and ever-curious.
Why “Wine Educator Branding Photoshoot” Matters for Women Entrepreneurs
Here’s my favorite part. When Erin reviewed the final gallery, she saw a reflection of the business she’s building: “I feel like it could be good…To me, I see it as a cover for a brochure or anything like that. Very versatile, and I like that it’s not just me front and center.”
That is what lifestyle business photography is all about—photos that make your audience want to join your story, not just admire it. If you ask me, Erin’s shoot is a masterclass for every woman entrepreneur ready to show the world what passion—poured well—actually looks like.
